M5 Tattoo Studio is located in Helsinki Katajanokka in charming backyard Atelier. It’s not a typical walk-in tattoo studio, the idea is to offer a private space for the customers, where they can feel comfortable and relax and have a personal tattoo experience in cosy and exclusive ambient. The owner of the studio Martino Fraschini is currently working alone, but the plan is also to invite national and international visiting artist and curate exhibitions.

Martino belives that quality is a keyword in the work, a tattoo that last years and stays fresh and clean are priority for him. As well he wants to provide an exceptional tattoo experience, creating a unique design for each customer. He truly believes that each person is different and tattoo design has to relate to persons style and character. Getting an tattoo is  often an big moment of persons life as it stays whit one forever and he believes it has to be consider carefully, that’s why big part of he’s work is not only making the tattoo but preparing the design whit the client together, to discuss the wishes and the visions. Martino brings his artistic style and skills to draw on paper and afterwards creating an artwork on person’s body. Getting a tattoo is for many people very personal moment and it has often deeper meaning as just an aesthetic decoration, it is a kind of ritual that can be healing or provide strength.

Martino comes originally from Italy, Milan, having an art background in illustration and comics, last 13 years he has worked with tattoos in Berlin, bringing experience over a decade in inking. He’s style is rich of detail and contrast, specializing in black and white tattoo, but he says that he’s open to wishes of costumers and always to new ideas.
